Hollywood Lakes Golf Club
The golf course at Hollywood Lakes is truly a test for every category of golfer. Currently there are 11 lakes and water features that sees water impact on 9 out of the 18 holes.Combine this element of the design with a multitude of trees and it is easy to see where the challenge emanates from. Designed by Mel Flanagan, who made major improvements during 2002, this 18-hole parkland golf course measures 6,707 yards from the championship tees including a 641 yard par 5 and comprises a par of 72.
Over the last five years the course has been upgraded with an additional 25 bunkers, several new pathways, six new water features and seven new tee boxes which makes for a pleasant and challenging test of golf for players of all standards. Set on south facing and well drained sloping lands, this parkland course is in play all year round.
A full bar and catering service is available in the friendly atmosphere of the clubhouse.
Hollywood Lakes Golf Club is located on the outskirts of Ballyboughal village, in North County Dublin. It lies within a 20 minute drive from Dublin Airport. Consequently, it is ideally located for golfers travelling from abroad.
