Esker Hills Golf Club
Esker Hills Golf Club, a Christy O' Connor Jnr designed masterpiece over 150 acres of testing terrain, is regarded as one of Ireland's leading inland golf courses. It's a challenging 18 hole par 71 championship golf course where no two holes are remotely alike.Esker Hills is noted for its distinct links feel, superb sand-based greens, all-year playability and warm welcome.
Excellent, natural drainage is one of the more obvious advantages the terrain offers golf-course construction. Then there are the dramatic undulations of valleys and plateaux which, along with natural lakes and woodlands, provide splendid design features.
The exploits of Irish International Shane Lowry has greatly enhanced the profile of the Club.
